With roses on display that covered almost every colour of the random and ranging from the size of palm to double and triple the size, the meeting was a sight for sore eyes, delighting all who attended.
Griffith Gardening Club President Elaine Pringle said that springtime was the 'perfect opportunity' to put the roses on display.
"Roses are just so beautiful in the spring so we always plan to have our rose show round about this time each year," Ms Pringle said.
"We judged them in a variety of categories including bud to blood and best cluster."
Gardening club member Josie Valentini said that there was a lot of misconceptions about the growing of roses.
"Roses are surprisingly quite hardy, people think they are delicate but they are not," Ms Valentini said.
"They often survive in very harsh climates as long as they get a good water every now and again."

According to Ms Pringle, Griffith has the perfect climate for growing roses.
"They just love our climate," Ms Pringle said.
A hybrid tea rose was announced the ultimate winner of the rose show, however the remaining entries, all of which were lovingly grown all stood out as winners to the members of the gardening club.
"It's roses galore in Griffith at the moment," Ms Valentini said.
"All the rain has just bought them to life!"
