The new 32 metre culvert at the Yenda Cemetery is impressive and the new guideposts on Pomroy Road and Barracks Road are greatly appreciated, really helps to navigate a very narrow road, with a high level of traffic.
Thank you to the John Holland crew that cleaned up the old derelict house on Beelbangera Road behind the Railway Station.
The site looks great guys and really enhances the entrance to Yenda.
The first birthday for the skate park, how it has become an important feature in our community park.
This has created a fabulous terrific hub for our young community members which has been invaluable during COVID and lockdowns.
A big thank you to the community members and business who have continue to support and maintain our skate park.
Pizzeria Villaggio are now serving scoop ice cream, supplied by Bertoldo's Bakery, also serving delicious takeaway pizzas and pasta.
This Saturday there is a Pasta Night, $25 adults, under 12s $10. There will be Nerf War Games for the kids on the green. Sunday October 31 is the Melbourne Cup Calcutta.
The draw commences at 7pm. There will be a buffet dinner and bookings are essential. Call Amanda on 0455 586 310.
Yarran Wines and Berton Vineyards cellar doors are both open for tastings and cellar door sales, bookings online are recommended.
Yenda Golf Club Sunday's competition is a Captain's Choice. Graham and Ruth Monk are the captains. Tee off time from the Club House is 7.30am, no bookings necessary, $12 fee applies.
