After length delays in recent months due to ongoing lockdowns and restrictions, the long awaited induction was finally able to take place last week at the Kidman Wayside Inn.
Sue Reynolds, Rene Brummans, Di Maruskanic, Margo Brookes, Di Robinson, Vicki Stonestreet, Val O'Meara and Sue Muirhead will serve on the board until July next year.
All board members previously served in the 2020/2021 financial year, with the two new additions this year to the board of Merveen Sjollema and Margaret Bandiera.
Outgoing President Sue Reynolds handed over her position to Peter Sparks, a founding charter member of the club and 2011/2012 President.
"Whilst the occasion was less formal than our normal changeovers, it was still a really great night for club members to come together and plan for the year ahead," Mr Sparks said.
"In the next 12 months we just want to get out there and be more visible in the community."
The club also welcomed three new members to its ranks, with Sophie Sun, Sandra Agresta and Tracey Vitucci officially inducted into the club.
Public Image Coordinator from the Rotary Club of Griffith Avanti Val O'Meara said the three women were 'exciting additions'.
"While Tracey and Sandra are returning to the club after an absence due to work commitments, Sophie is a new recruit," Mrs O Meara said.
"All three have a dynamic, positive, can do attitude which will be a valuable addition to our community projects."

And whilst fundraising across the last year was down, the club still managed to allocate approximately $20,00 to go towards local initiatives and charitable causes.
"We are just hoping to get past COVID-19," Mr Sparks said.
According to Mrs O'Meara club members are currently involved in a number of projects throughout the region aimed at enhancing the local community.
"We work on the community garden patch, pick produce for Foodbank, plant trees and deliver Meals on Wheels just to name a few," Mrs O'Meara said.
