The Griffith Swans were well represented last week at the South West Junior Awards, which were conducted online due to COVID restrictions.

While the season wasn't able to reach its climax due to the ban on community sport, AFL Riverina moved the awards ceremony to their Facebook page to highlight the great performers from the 2021 season.
After a strong season in the under 13s, Griffith Whites' Jai Kenny came away with the award after a close run battle with inter-club teammate Griffith Red's Isaac Conlan, who finished six votes behind Kenny.
It was a good season for Kenny, who kicked six goals and finished in the best players seven times out of the 12 games and helped his side finish just inside the top four on percentage over Griffith Red.
The next best performer from the football side, was Broden Spencer, who, after finishing among the best players in six of the 11 games and help his side finish inside the top four to come home fourth in the best and fairest count in the under 15s.
The Swans were also well represented in the netball best and fairest counts.
In the under 11s, Griffith had two finish inside the top five, with Skye Robinson and Tess Jamieson finishing in fourth and third, respectively.

Myah Sergi was able to come home with a third-place finish after a strong season in the under 13s.
There was a top-three finish in the under 15s as well, with Emerson Waide coming home in third place as she helped the Griffith Red side finish at the top of the table with 19 wins from 20 games.
