Located in Goolgowi, the exterior renovations have been completed, with the interior still waiting for some final brush strokes to paint the wiles and for some new carpet tiles yet to be laid down in the front rooms of the building.
According to Carrathool Shire Council Economic Development Officer John Randall, the building has come a long way since restoration works begin six months ago.
"The building was unused and unloved with some serious maintenance issues, namely the roof blowing in the wind," Mr Randall said.
"Now the building is watertight, freshly painted inside and out and rewired with split system air conditioning with a new front verandah."

According to Carrathool Shire Mayor, Darryl Jardine, the aim of the project was to make the building safe and secure for use by the local community.
"Council records show it was built in 1934 as the new home for the Council which had moved from Carrathool," Mr Jardine said.
The Council then continued to use the building up until 1958, when the current Council offices were built.
Work on the building included a new roof and verandah, painting inside and out, electrical re-wiring, carpet cleaning and replacement, with the added bonus of air-conditioning for year-round use."
Interpretative panels giving more details the history of the old Chambers will also soon be installed on the front wall of the building.
"Now that the works are almost complete, council welcomes any enquiries from local groups who may want to use this significant community asset with strong links to our past."
