The Griffith and Regional Association of the Performing Arts (GRAPA) production may have been delayed due to lockdown, but rehearsals certainly were not put on the backburner and were conducted virtually instead.
President of GRAPA and Director of Romeo and Juliet, Bonnie Owen said that the cast made 'good use' of the rehearsals via Zoom during lockdown.
"Our virtual rehearsals were just fantastic," Miss Owen said.
"We had a lot of great script based discussion and realisation that I am excited to now start implement in rehearsals."

According to Miss Owen, the entire cast and crew were very excited to resume face to face rehearsals and bring the beloved Shakespeare classic to life.
"Everyone is really happy to be back on stage," Miss Owen said.
"We are rehearsing hard at the moment so we can get ahead and be more equipped to deal with whatever is thrown at us.
It is good to catch up on what we have missed during lockdown."
The production will now be taking place on the 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th and 27th of November.
"Everyone is really excited and hopeful that the production can go ahead," Mrs Owen said.
"Once we know for sure, tickets will be made available for sale."
A decision in regards to the production will be made by GRAPA in October.
"The cast and crew have shown tremendous commitment to the production and have shown an enormous amount of effort in bringing this story to life," Miss Owen said.
"We are all hopeful the show can go ahead."
