It's a hasty increase, considering just a little below 50 per cent of residents have received their second shot and are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Rosie Harriman is the practice manager of Your Health Griffith, and says that they have been flat-out with the vaccination program even with the increased allocations.
"We can't keep up, AstraZeneca is a bit quieter but the Pfizer is crazy. We're doing clinics, we've got the Super Saturdays - there's another one coming up so that will be another 400."
The Super Saturdays have seen impressive success, distributing a huge number of vaccines in a short amount of time.

Ms Harriman added that the increased eligibility ranges had made appointments and scheduling slightly easier but hadn't decreased rapid demand.
"The latest eligibility criteria, the 16-39 year olds have really jumped on board. Since Monday, we can do from 12 up as well. It's easier now since there aren't as many eligibility questions but at the moment, we're booked out until October 26."
She was optimistic however, saying that the milestone was an important step and that she could 'see a light at the end of the tunnel.'
"The medical world has been turned upside down but I feel like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel ... We just need everybody to be vaccinated."
Vaccinations are especially vital as the virus continues to spread around the regions, with sites in Young and Wagga being exposed to the virus after an essential worker tested positive for COVID-19.
