The cinemas closed over lockdown as with many other businesses, but staff said they were pleased to be back in time for the school holidays.
Matt Chettleburgh works at the bowling alley section of Family Funland and said it was good to be back at work but it wasn't as busy as they were expecting.
"Ah, I was hoping for some time off over the school holidays," he joked.
"No, it's good to be back at work. It's surprisingly not as busy as we'd like."
Stephanie Bertoldo, another staff member, said that they had seen a number of postponed birthday parties calling to reschedule but things had quietened down.
"We had a couple parties scheduled right at the beginning of lockdown, so for the first few days, people were booking a couple of lanes for kind of unofficial birthdays," she said.
"Now it's more of a steady pace."

Cinemas are currently capped at 75 per cent of their capacity, which Miss Bertoldo said can leave some people disappointed.
"When it comes to very popular movies, they sell out quickly so that can be a bit of a disappointment when some people come in and there's no more tickets left."
She and Mr Chettleburgh added that they were hoping to be back at full capacity by the Christmas holidays, with blockbusters like James Bond, Dune, and The Eternals poised for summer releases.
"The last holidays, we were at half capacity so we had Suicide Squad selling out before the movie even started. We'd sell out an hour before," Miss Bertoldo said.
"It's pretty much that if you want to see it straight away, you need to call and buy earlier but if you wait a week or two, it dies down enough that you can get a ticket."
