Group 20 had reached elimination finals of the competition with only a handful of games left to determine the season's winner.
Group 20 is the latest competition to announce it was over for the year following decisions made by Football Wagga, Riverina Football League and Southern Inland Rugby Union to end play.
Group 20 operations manager Rocci DiSalvatore said the season was "over and done" and instead of planning out this year's final series the focus will switch to next year.
He said if the state government's vaccination targets were reached, next year a full season would hopefully be played.
"We're looking forward to next year," DiSalvatore said.
"I really feel for the clubs and the players, some of the still want to play."
"A lot of clubs make revenue out of finals, but we have a duty of care."

DiSalvatore said directors and club leaders would meet to discuss what end of year presentations look like, and said all options were being considered.
That could mean presentations in November or potentially in pre-season next year.
"We're looking at every option."
He said during Thursday's meeting, a discussion about what the future of the Group 20 competition will look like in 2022 would begin.
NSW Rugby League's head of football Robert Lowrie said ambiguity around vaccination targets and requirement for community sport were key factors considered before deciding on cancelling the rest of the season.
"I thank all stakeholders for their tireless efforts in trying to get community football back on the field but unfortunately it is no longer feasible," Lowrie said.
"While COVID has thrown up many challenges to our sport, there are still plenty of achievements to be proud of with a strong participation base of 108,000 players leading into 2022.
"I thank all our participants, officials, coaches and fans for their contributions this season. I urge them to stay safe, observe the COVID-19 safety guidelines and look forward to seeing them back in action in 2022."
