But are they allowed?
Member for Murray Helen Dalton said that whilst people could travel to other areas out of lockdown, such as Wagga or Albury, they should take caution.
"I would still encourage people to avoid unnecessary travel, at least for the next few weeks," Mrs Dalton said.
"But if you need to see family for compassionate reasons or to travel for work or medical appointments, you can go without fear of copping a hefty fine."

Director of Economic and Organisational Development at Griffith City Council Shireen Donaldson said that no official statement had been made to Council regarding changes to existing flight schedules due to the reduction of restrictions at this current stage.
"Passengers should check with their airline regarding flight schedules and should also check any COVID-19 related restrictions or travel permits required to pass through Sydney airport," Mrs Donaldson said.
A spokesperson for Qantas also confirmed to The Area News that they would not be restarting regional flights, even between destinations out of lockdown, until the 70 per cent full vaccinated target is reached mid October.
If you are happy to wait however, Qantas and Jetstar will launch a special sale for travel on regional NSW routes to coincide with the NSW Government's expected reopening of travel for fully vaccinated people from October 18.
This will see return Griffith to Sydney fares from $119.
"With the NSW Government expected to reopen regional travel around the state from mid October, we are offering discounted fares to make it even easier for people to get out and see their own backyard as well as see family and friends," a Qantas spokesperson said.
The sale goes live at Qantas.com from midnight September 9 and from midday on September 10 at Jetstar.com.
