Having had discussions with clubs and the changing situation in both regional NSW and Canberra, Capital Football has cancelled all competitions.
This means that Yoogali SC in NPL2 and Griffith FC in NPL Youth has kicked their last ball in competitive action this season.
"This has been a difficult decision to make, knowing the time and effort invested by players, coaches, volunteers, referees, families, and staff," the statement from Capital Football said.
"Capital Football would like to extend sincere gratitude to all those who took part in the survey and provided feedback, all of which was essential for us to best align with the needs of our football community."
All winter competitions will not be conducted, and premiers for all leagues will be awarded based on a point per match ratio.
After a strong season in NPL2, O'Connor Knights will be promoted into NPL1 while Tuggeranong United have been relegated to NPL2.
