The lockdown has caused hardship for dozens of local stores who have found their customer base slashed by the new restrictions.
Vaccari's Bakery has gone from baking and selling up to 40 birthday cakes each weekend to less than ten.
Co-owner Erin Vaccari said the drop in sales is a big problem for the family-owned store.
"Pretty much as soon as we heard about the lockdown we knew our sales would drop and some of the businesses we supply would be shutting down," Mrs Vaccari said.
"Birthday cakes are the biggest part of our business and obviously because gatherings aren't allowed that has dropped dramatically."
"It's a big hit on the business because bills don't stop and wages still have to be paid."
Griffith resident Jenny Beer launched Gifts4Locals, an online gift card business designed to support local businesses, in 2015.
Mrs Beer said the current situation means it is "vitally important" for Griffith residents to take extra steps and help out their local cafes, stores and restaurants.
"One thing people can do is share and comment on local businesses' posts on social media because then you're helping make sure their profiles are still being seen and circulated while they're not able to open for face to face customers," Mrs Beer said.
"People should also remember that lots of local restaurants and cafes are still offering takeaway and delivery so you can still support them that way if you get that a couple times a week."

Many of the local businesses around town have put in place new delivery and pickup systems to ensure they can keep serving their customers throughout the lockdown.
Mrs Beer called on the community to rally behind their local businesses to help keep Griffith's economy strong.
"It's so important to keep your money local," she said.
"If you want to have jobs in Griffith you have to spend your money in Griffith so that people can keep being employed here."
