Despite the break in the middle of the season, Hanwood coach Brian Bertolin feels that when and if the time comes to return to the field, his side will be in an almost perfect position.
"I suppose with us, we had a pretty good fitness base leading into this, we trained pretty hard every week, so I'm not overly worried that one or two weeks away that everything would fall off the wagon," he said.
"If they said next week that the lockdown ends on Saturday and we play on the Sunday, do you worry that someone is going to do a hammy? You probably do, but what's the other option? You give everyone another week to get fitness up. I'm not sure there is too much you can do about it.
"We tell the boys to do a bit on their own, but it's unlikely that in an amateur league like this that blokes are going to be doing too much anyway."

Football Wagga had already extended their season until October 17 to fit in games that had been washed out, but with the extra games now potentially needed to be caught up, Bertolin feels there may still be more fixture changes.
"I know that Pascoe Cup had two bye weekends but second grade only had one, and some of the third-grade teams had a bit more than that to catch up," he said.
"Hopefully, if it does come back on board over the next week or so, there is going to have to be some juggling on their behalf to try and squeeze everything in."
The biggest concern for the Hanwood coach was ensuring that having gotten this far into the season, the season is able to be brought to a proper finishing point.
"The biggest thing for me is that we have worked so hard, and we are 13 rounds in. I just hope that we can get back on the paddock and get the right ending for everyone," he said.
"You are 70 per cent into the season you want to try and get the right ending. I think there are enough weeks left in the season.
"Even at the 28th, I think there are still seven weeks left in the season, so I'm sure we can come up with something at the meeting. I think there is a meeting next Wednesday, and I'm sure they will come up with something that will work."
