NSW Health has released new data that reveals how many residents have received the vaccine in each postcode.

The data shows that in Griffith and the rest of the 2680 area, between 40 and 49 per cent of the eligible population has received their first dose.

Out of the 19,805 eligible adults that live in the area, 20 to 29 per cent have received both doses and are fully vaccinated.

More than 15,000 vaccinations, including both first and second doses, have been administered in the area.

Karlie Aitken was the acting practice manager at the Griffith Vaccination Hub for the past few weeks and said she has been very happy with the number of people getting the jab.

"It's been fantastic, we've had such a great response with our patients here," Mrs Aitken said.

"Each time we've opened up availability it has been booked out almost straight away which is great."

The demand has been so high that the Vaccination Hub requested an increase to their allocation of Pfizer doses.

Currently the site receives 420 doses each week but this will be upped to 720 later this month.

"As soon as that happens we'll be able to take on more bookings," Mrs Aitken said.

Every postcode across the MIA has now had 40 to 49 per cent of their eligible population receive at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

In Leeton and surrounding towns, more than 5000 vaccines have been administered in total and between 20 and 29 per cent of the population has received both jabs.

In the Ardlethan area, which includes Barellan, Mirrool and Ariah Park, there has been 926 vaccination administered, and between 10 and 19 per cent of the eligible adults are fully vaccinated.

A further 825 vaccinations have been administered to Yenda residents, of which 20 to 29 per cent are fully vaccinated.

In Coleambally and Darlington Point, there has been more than 627 and 519 vaccinations administered respectively and both postcodes have 20 to 29 per cent of their population fully protected.

Yanco residents have received 396 vaccinations, resulting in 20 to 29 per cent of the area being fully vaccinated.

It is hoped vaccination rates will continue to increase in the coming weeks with Griffith pharmacies joining in on the rollout this month.
