After both sides were able to trade sets in the opening 20 minutes, it was a dart from dummy-half by Aiden Brown, which saw the Panthers take the lead, and it was doubled soon after when Jack Cooper crossed after a 70m break.
Hay was able to pull one back just before the break, with Tim Lomai getting over to see the Black and Whites leading 12-6 at halftime.

Mikaele Tuilau scored two quick tries for the Panthers to all but put the game to bed, but, not wanting to go down without a fight, Hay hit back when Ben Taylor got over next to the post.
Panthers coach Tomasi Caqasau put the game to bed with two and a half minutes remaining to secure a 26-12 victory.
The Black and Whites will now await the losers of the game between Leeton and TLU Sharks.
