It has been a tough season for the Griffith side, who have picked up one win, against Leeton-Whitton back in round two, but they will be on the hunt for their second win of the season when they take on Narrandera this Saturday.
While admitting his side were outclassed last weekend when they took on GGGM Lions, Swans coach Greg Dreyer said there were plenty of positives to take from the 30-point defeat.
"It was a much-improved effort than the previous few weeks," he said.
"It was just a better general effort across the four quarters. There were errors there that they have been battling with all year, but the fact that we kept them goalless for the last quarter and a half which was good, and I think we kicked a couple.
"They were too good for us, but we definitely improved."
Heading into the clash with the Eagles, it is a good chance for the Swans to get off the bottom of the table but will need to overturn a seven-point defeat from the last time the two sides met.
"They are a team in the same sort of situation as us," he said.
"We have to aim up and see how we go and try to be consistent.
"They got away from us early in the last game, and then we fought back.
"We have the potential if we are able to play for four quarters, I think we would be a good chance to have a win."

Halfback Charlie Cunial will face a fitness test on Thursday night while the Swans will be able to welcome back Tom Powell after he was a late withdrawal from the clash with the Lions.
Dreyer will be urging his side not to just stroll to the finish line in two weeks time, instead put the work in to prepare for the 2022 season.
"We just want to keep persisting with what we have been talking about and trying to get that consistency," he said.
"We have to enjoy our footy and not just run the season out for the hell of it. Use this to get ready for pre-season because we will be better for it.
"The fact that we have 10 or 12 games into some 17 and 18-year-olds it will be beneficial for next year."
Meanwhile, the reserve grade side will look to stay in the hunt for a top-two finish when they take on the bottom of the table Narrandera side.
For the under 17.5s, it is a chance to keep their perfect season with two rounds remaining, which will see them finish the regular season with a top of the table clash against Turvey Park.
The first-grade game this weekend will get underway at the later time of 2.40pm.
