It was a tough trip to Wagga on Saturday for the Griffith FC side when they took on local rivals Wagga City Wanderers in the National Premier League Youth competition.

The under 13s were able to their 14th win of the season with a 5-1 win over the Wanderers.
It was a high scoring first half for the visitors, with Kobe Ellis finding the back of the net twice while Christian Dall'est, Nicholas Codemo and Ryan Calabria also scoring to see Griffith leading 5-0 at the break.
The Wanderers were able to pull on back in the second half, but that was as close as they got to see Griffith stay two points clear at the top of the table.

It was a tough weekend for the rest of the age groups who all fell to their rivals.
The under 14s and under 16s both fell to 4-1 defeats, while two goals in the final 10 minutes saw the under 18s defeated 4-2.
This weekend will see the Griffith FC sides return home to take on Gungahlin United.
