Soroptimist Griffith are currently on the hunt for 100 bicycles to send across the ocean to their sister club in Samoa.
The donation is in celebration of Soroptimist International's centenary, with groups all around the world taking part in the '100 acts of kindness' challenge.
Griffith soroptimist Sonia Casanova said the idea to send the bikes to the Pacific nation came after considering what could be done to help out the Samoan group.
"We thought 'well what can they use?' and that's how the idea for the bikes came up," Ms Casanova said.
"They'll be able to use them for recreation, transport and they also have a great idea of renting out the bikes and hopefully making a little bit of money which they can then reinvest into other projects."

Griffith residents have already donated almost 50 bikes to the drive, and Ms Casanova says the focus for the next few weeks will be sourcing the final half of the 100.
"As usual the Griffith community has been so fantastic ... we're just amazed at how generous people are," she said.
"We've got a great number of kids bikes so now we're really looking for bikes for adults or older kids."
Ms Casanova said the mood at drop offs so far has been incredibly positive, with many Griffith residents relishing the chance to provide some joy with their old, unused bikes.
"I think people have really been seeing the benefit of giving something so that someone else can enjoy it," she said.
"A lot of them have been saying 'oh it's been in my shed for ages and now I can get it put to good use' or they've said their kids have grown out of it and that it will be good to see it going to someone who can enjoy it."
Soroptimist Griffith is accepting any bikes in working order or in need of minor repairs, as well as any helmets in good condition.
The group is hoping to send a shipping container with all the bikes over to Samoa by the end of November.
Anyone looking to donate a bike or helmet to the cause can do so by emailing sigriffith@siswp.org or messaging the Soroptimist Griffith page on Facebook.
