The Yenda team faced a difficult number of games, losing seven of them and placing them at a distant seventh on the ladder. On the other hand, the Black and Whites have torn through teams this season and only lost one match. They're currently second on the ladder, just two points behind Leeton.
The Blueheelers have been pulling together a team, with coach Lance Poka saying they were fortunate to have people step up so they could put together enough players every week.
"We've got about seven season-ending injuries. In saying that, we've had people step up and we've been lucky to get a team together."
He described this season as particularly tough, with a young team facing low morale.

"It's been a tough year for us, having a young team. These young guys have been stepping up and doing the best they can ... After last week's game, I think we can just go into this one with confidence," Poka said.
Last week's game for Yenda was up against the Waratahs Tigers, and they took a very narrow loss. The final score was 26-30 to the Tigers, a close game that must have gone a long way to restoring the confidence for the Blueheelers.
Nonetheless, Poka was quick to assure that the team would be bringing their A-game to the upcoming match and not underestimating their opponents.
"They're a big side, they're a fast side. They've got strengths straight through, we're just going to be revving up."
The match is going to be played on August 1 at 3pm, kicking off at Yenda's homeground of Wade Park.
