It was always going to be a tough encounter for the Yoogali side, and the Queanbeyan side found the back of the net in the first half to take a 1-0 lead into the break before scoring a second to secure the three points.
The difficulty to secure the fourth place will be made tougher as the Canberra White Eagles now have one game in hand as their game this weekend was postponed due to the wet weather in Canberra.
The clash this weekend was meant to be against Weston Molonglo, who are struggling in last position, so would be expected to take the three points from that clash.
