On Wednesday, venues at Gundagai, Hay and Jindera were listed as COVID exposure sites by NSW Health. It is believed the venues are linked to a crew of three removalists who visited Victoria and South Australia before two tested positive on their return to NSW.

On Thursday the Murrumbidgee Local Health District recorded 684 tests, with 107 of these in the Albury LGA. No new cases have been detected.

"MLHD is working closely with Albury Wodonga Health and private pathology providers to improve access to testing clinics during this heightened increase in demand," an MLHD spokesperson said in a statement.

"MLHD thanks people who have come forward for testing in effected communities and for their patience and understanding during this time."

Anyone who visited the following venues at the listed times are considered a close contact, and must get tested and immediately self-isolate for 14 days regardless of their result:

"We understand that many people in the community may be concerned they have come in contact with the COVID-19 virus," the MLHD spokesperson said.

"If you were not at an exposure site on the days listed above, or a close contact to someone who was, please monitor for symptoms and get tested if even the mildest symptoms develop."

Testing is available in Gundagai at the GP-Led respiratory clinic on Mount Street, or at the Multipurpose Service. Hay Hospital is also offering testing, as well as the Jindera Recreation Reserve on Dight Street.

The MLHD also has a number of testing clinics based in Cootamundra, Griffith, Hay, Leeton and Wagga. There are available by appointment and can be arranged by calling the COVID-19 hotline on 1800 831 099.
