This year's race is set to begin on the 22nd of October, hopefully avoiding COVID restrictions and head out into western NSW.
Shane McGufficke is the current president of the rally, and is in the midst of promoting the race to bring in new entrants, although he says they might have hit capacity.
"We decided we'd try and raise a bit of money as a bit of fun, so it was just six or seven cars the first year. It was a bit of fun so we put it out into the town ... It went from six to 25 to 40 cars and now we're just sitting around there to keep it manageable."

Mr McGufficke added that the event was focused around having fun with mates, and that while the charity is an important element, it was somewhat of an afterthought to the main goal of having a good time in the sticks.
"We have a couple little derbies, we have yabbie races, we have a couple auctions ... We just try and have a bit of fun, and the money we raise is a bit of a bonus."
For a sidenote to the main purpose, the rally's raised a huge amount of money for charities in the area. Mr McGufficke said they've raised almost $600,000 for the four main groups, with last year's bringing in around $162,000. He added that every year, they bring in more money.
As a result, the rally monitors the money closely to ensure it's spent as wisely as possible.
"Everything the participants raise goes to the charity, we don't keep any for ourselves. Everyone runs it as a volunteer ... We don't want people to raise a lot of money and then it gets chewed up in people's wallets."
Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to sign up for a registration fee of $450, with a minimum sponsorship amount of $1500 required to participate.
