After withstanding some early pressure from the Steamers, it was the Blacks who were able to strike with their first meaningful attack as Seigia Seukeni found her way over.

The Blacks were reduced to nine players right on halftime but headed in with a 10-point lead.
Ua Ravu was able to return, and it didn't take long for the Blacks to cross in the second half as they were able to spread the ball out wide to Jacklyn Vidler before Ravu made the most of a mistake from the Steamers to put a grubber kick through and gather to score next to the post.
The tries continued to rain in the early stages of the second half, with Lele Katoa making the most of a hole in the defensive line to see the Blacks leading 25-0.
The game was put to bed in the late stages of the second half, with Janiana Ravu getting over in the corner, while after a quick break, Ua Ravu was able to score her second of the afternoon.
