The raffle's goal is to raise $20,000 for CanAssist Griffith, in order to provide support for cancer patients and their families in the area. Currently, they're sitting at around the halfway point for donations so they have extended the length of the fundraiser.
President of CanAssist Olga Forner said that COVID had hamstrung efforts to raise money so they were asking the community to keep them in mind.
"We haven't been able to fundraise because of COVID, and now we're shut down again so we're calling out to the community ... we just need a bit more support."
Mrs Forner also wanted to emphasise that the money raised stays in Griffith.
"This money, it'll go directly to support the community. 100 per cent of it will be for the local people."
