The cinemas remain open, although operating at a quarter of their usual capacity due to the 'One person per four square metres' rule. They're also enforcing the mask mandate, with masks available at the counter for those who don't currently have one on entering.
Cinema staff said they were receiving a number of calls inquiring about whether they were open, pointing to the confusion surrounding current closures and cancellations of different venues.

A string of expected heavy-hitters were lined up to play at the cinema during the holidays and in the aftermath, including the long-awaited 'Black Widow' and 'Space Jam: A New Legacy.' Both were expected to bring in impressive numbers.
Mr Giorgi said that morale was high despite the setbacks.

The theatre is currently in the process of refunding all tickets to Bell Shakespeare, and is contacting all ticket holders directly regarding options for the Robertson Brothers performance.
