The Griffith Blacks women's team have dropped their first points of the season following a 15-all draw against Waratahs at Conolly Rugby Park on Saturday.

The home side was able to strike first after forcing a turnover and making the most of the space out wide and run around to score under the post.
The Blacks were able to get a roll on, and after a strong break from Ua Ravu got them to within 10 metres of the line, an offload from Cornelia Tanielu saw Fapiola Uoifalelahi get over the line.
A strong break from Tanielu, which saw her able to break through three tackles, had the Blacks into a strong position.
The Waratahs weathered the first storm, but the Blacks were able to go coast-to-coast with Ua Ravu crossing in the corner to give the Blacks a 10-5 lead at the break.
The Blacks were able to hold off an early charge from the Waratahs, and after a try-saving tackle from Eliza Baddock forced a knock-on, the Blacks made full use of the set-piece.

Ua Ravu was able to race 90 metres after darting from the back of the scrum and going down the short side, which was left open by the Waratahs defence to see the Griffith side leading by 10 points with nine minutes remaining.
The Waratahs were able to pull one try back, but the Blacks had a chance to secure the points after a break from Vanessa Richards; however, a knock-on close to the line denied them.
As time wound down, it looked like the Blacks would hold on. However, a quick tap from a penalty saw the Waratahs get over and level the game with the final play of the game.
