The Griffith City Library is keeping busy over the school holidays with a range of programs to keep kids occupied and engaged.

The school holiday events are kicking off on day one, with a creative workshop on Monday July 28. Kids are invited to come along to the library to design bird feeders to help with local wildlife.
The library's 'lego club' will also be happening every day, between 1 to 4:30pm. In a final addition to the school holiday schedule, they'll be showcasing a range of children's movies at 11:00 each Tuesday and Friday.
The first week will be playing 'Raya and the Last Dragon,' the most recent animated venture from Disney. The second week will move to the animated Danish movie 'Dreambuilders.'

Library manager Karen Tagliapietra said that they had seen the library get busier during the school holidays and were well prepared.
"The library is always extra busy during the holidays and we have been working on a few workshops, movie screenings and the ever popular Lego Club," said Mrs Tagliapietra in a statement.
