The performance was scheduled to happen on the evening of the 24th, but has now been postponed indefinitely.
The troupe's tour was previously put on hold just four days before their premiere back in March 2020, when COVID-19 struck and forced them to cancel their performances for the rest of the year.
Sydney has now put in place tighter restrictions as the city recorded 23 new cases of the virus in the last day, prohibiting seven areas from leaving the metropolitan centre.

Acting manager of the theatre Margaret Andreazza said that the string of cancellations and movements was disheartening but that they were still hopeful that we would see the show eventually.
"We are hopeful we will be able to find another suitable date during their tour schedule for them to return to Griffith ... We were certain we would be good for this year, but alas, things changed again at the last minute."
She followed "The name and nature of this work - Impermanence - is particularly apt for this time in our lives where the COVID situation is constantly changing, and we need to be able to adapt quickly to changes out of our control, such as this situation we now find ourselves in."
The performance was helmed by Rafael Bonachela, who partnered with composer Bryce Dessner to create a dance production inspired by the twin tragedies of the Australian bushfires and the Notre Dame fire of 2019. Perhaps COVID can be added as an inspiration for the eventual release.
Ticket holders have been contacted about the show, and offered options of either transferring tickets to the new date or refunded.
