Constables Mitchell Braver, Claire Le Breton and Adam Zekusic are all now getting to know the city of Griffith on their year-long probationary period.
Constable Zekusic graduated on June 18 but knew he had been assigned to Griffith for about six weeks beforehand. He described the experience as very quick.
"I got my preferences back and saw where I'd been sent, and I just told my parents 'I'm off'," he said.

While there are rumours that Griffith is spoken of in the same breath as Broken Hill as 'places new recruits don't want to be sent', Constable Zekusic said there wasn't anything to it.
"Not Griffith. Definitely Broken Hill, but I haven't heard anything about Griffith," he said.
It was his first day on the job but he said he was looking forward to working in the station with the rest of the police department.
"I'm actually looking forward to it, I'm working with good people. They're all nice."
The new arrivals come just two months after another recent intake of Constables Rhys Hanley and James Hart.
