Griffith FC had one of their strongest weeks of the National Premier League Youth season as they picked up 10 points from a possible 12 from their clashes with Wagga City Wanderers at Ted Scobie Oval.

The under 13s were able to continue their strong start to the season with their 10th win from 12 games against their nearest rivals.
Will Lancaster struck in the first half to give the home side a 1-0 lead at halftime before Ryan Calabria scored a second-half double, and while the Wanderers pulled a goal back, Christian Dall'est wrapped up the three points for his side with a goal to secure a 4-1 win.
The three points help the Griffith side stand alone at the top of the table with a five-point lead over Canberra Olympic with nine rounds remaining in the season.
The under 14s were able to jump back into the top four with a 5-0 win over the Wagga side.
It was a great day out for young forward Dane O'Connor, who had his radar well and truly set on the back of the net as he scored all five goals, which included a first-half hat-trick.

Griffith now holds a one-point margin over Brindabella in the under 14s as they look to hold on to a spot in the top four.
After suffering a heartbreaking draw last weekend, the under 18s were able to pick up their second win of the season.
Ethan Andreazza scored a goal midway through the first half, and they were able to hold on to take a 1-0 win over the Wanderers.
The points were shared in the under 16s.
Beth Huxley and Blake Patten found the back of the net for the Griffith side as points were shared in a 2-2 draw.
