Police are investing a break and enter at a grain mill, which saw five crooks make off with $2800 of equipment.

Between 2:30am and 3:30am on Saturday June 5, the five unknown people entered a grain mill on Barber Road in Benerembah, about 20 kilometres west of Griffith.
The people gained access to a grain mill receival room and stole a number of mill worker's items, including a portable work radio, an airjack, a Honda generator and multiple handheld ultra high frequency radios.
The act was caught by CCTV and police are investigating the matter.
In other police matters;
- Police are making enquiries after a two metre high fence surrounding an auto repair business on Farronata Road was cut open at some point between 4:30pm on Sunday June 6 and 7am the next day. It is believed someone cut the gate open to enter the yard however no vehicles were damaged and the property was not broken into.
- At 11:30am on Tuesday June 15, fire crews were called to a vacant property on McKern Place when a plumber noticed smoke billowing from the roof. Fire crews extinguished the small fire which has been set in a linen closet and noticed the front door was damaged, the rear door was open and all windows were smashed. Police declared the home a crime scene and are investigating.
