The Troubadour will be performing at the Yenda Hotel from 8pm on Friday. Double Shot will serve up on Friday at the Sporties Club from 7pm. Cherry Bomb will perform at the Hotel Victoria from 8pm on Saturday. Cheryl Tucker will be on stage at Griffith Exies Club from 8pm on Saturday. Blume Events hit the stage at the Griffith Southside Leagues Club from 8.30pm on Saturday.
PARKRUN GRIFFITH
Weekly, timed five kilometre event starts Saturday
Griffith parkrun begins at Ted Scobie Oval from 8am on Saturday. Everyone from walkers, joggers and runners is welcome. Entry is free.
WORLD MAKE MUSIC DAY
NSW Festival of Place to put on show in Leeton
Musician Jannah Beth and band True Vibenation will head west to Leeton as part of World Make Music Day on Sunday. They'll be performing at Leeton's Museum and Gallery from midday until 3pm. The event is part of NSW's Festival of Place. Entry is free.
ARCHIBALD PRIZE
Australia's best known art prize comes to Griffith
The nation's most famous art prize will be exhibited in Griffith. Free guided tours are running at 10.30am and 1.30pm. Bookings are essential for events, visit Griffith Regional Gallery's website for details. The exhibition will run until June 27.
SUNDAY MARKETS
Fresh food, crafts and more at Griffith Showgrounds
Griffith Rotary's markets open from 7am until midday on Sunday at the Griffith Showgrounds. Stallholders will have everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, pizza bases, fresh honey, jewellery, candles, clothes, preserves and oils, seedlings and plants. Entry is by gold coin donation to Griffith Rotary Club.
