Both sides are closely matched on the table once again and, at the halfway mark of the season, will be trying to keep pace with the sides ahead of them and push away from the chasing pack just outside the top five.
For the Waratahs, it has been two weeks since they last took to the field and fell to a 40-point defeat at the hands of current competition leaders Leeton.
For co-coach Trey Woodland the focus isn't on the rematch, rather on finding the form the side needs to secure a finals spot.
"We have spoken about it a little bit, and some of the boys still feel it, but it hasn't been a huge focus," he said.
"We have come off two losses, so that has been most of the talk at the moment. We are just trying to get ourselves back together after a big loss to Leeton.
"The game against Wyalong was a good game of footy, and it could have gone either way, so we took a bit from that, but we are definitely trying to hit our straps now we are midway through the season."
The Waratahs currently sit just a two points ahead of the Roosters heading into the weekend, while Yanco-Wamoon is only outside the top five on differential.

Woodland knows it will be important to pick up wins quickly, with just seven rounds remaining after this weekend.
"You don't want to get too far behind, and it is getting hard," he said.
"The top three have really been flexing their muscle over the last couple of weeks, and it will be good to get a couple of wins over the next month."
In a positive sign for the Waratahs, they will be picking from a full squad which they haven't been able to do since round one, with Adam Twigg overcoming his ankle injury.
While the Roosters are dealing with some injury issues, Woodland knows they face a tough task.
"Playing over there is always tough, they like to play physical, and you have Benny (Jeffery) who likes to play fast, so it will be a tough game in the middle," he said.
