As of this Monday, the Live Life Get Active program is running free fitness sessions in City Park on various mornings and evenings throughout the week.
The upbeat and welcoming sessions are being run by Griffith trainer Nikita Gatti, who said the camp has gotten off to an amazing start.
"It's been a lot better than I expected," Miss Gatti said.
"We've had a really good turnout with numbers and I feel like everyone was very positive and honest.
"If everyone walks away with a smile and feeling good then I'm happy because I've done my job."

As a local girl, Miss Gatti said she is excited to be doing her bit to help other Griffith residents improve their fitness - and hopefully their mental wellbeing as well.
"Growing up here and having my family from here makes it important for me to do my part for Griffith," she said.
"I feel like I have a lot to give, share, and teach and if I can do that in my local community then that would obviously be a massive bonus."
Despite taking place in the middle of the park, the sessions include everything from dumbbells, weighted balls and stretch ropes and the classes can vary from boxing to yoga.
Miss Gatti said breathing in the cool fresh air is a big focus for her sessions, as she looks to integrate a focus on living healthily along with the exercise.
"I would rather train someone for a couple of months and see them keeping it up five years later rather than helping someone do a massive transormation but seeing them back where they started a few years later," she said.
"It's not just about that body transformation it's about having a healthy life for the rest of your life."
The trainer said all ages and fitness levels are welcome at the classes and she encouraged everyone to come on down.
The sessions will be running in Griffith for the next three years.
