It was the toughest weekend of the season so far for the Griffith FC sides when they played host to Canberra Croatia at Ted Scobie Oval on Saturday.
The under 18s were mere seconds away from picking up just their second win of the season before a late fightback from the Canberra side saw the points shared.
Croatia took the lead late in the first half and was able to hold the 1-0 lead until the end of the first half.
Alex Careri brought Griffith FC level four minutes into the second half before Abhiyash Sandu found the back of the net nine minutes later to see the Griffith FC side leading 2-1.
After a set-piece was whipped into the box by Frank Pirrottina, it was flicked onto the far post by Jonathan Codemo before Sandhu tapped the ball into an open net to seemingly give the home the three points.
That was until Croatia pulled one goal back in the 89th minute before finding the back of the net with the final kick of the game to see the game finish 3-3.
The under 13s were the only other side to pick up a point with a 2-2 draw.

It was an evenly fought battle with the sides locked at 1-1 after the first half while it looked like Griffith FC would be able to take the three points thanks to goals to Joseph Romeo and Kobe Ellis before Croatia scored a late goal to see the points shared.
The under 14s fell to a 4-2 defeat with goals to Luca Piva and Dane O'Connor in the second half not enough to stop the momentum from the Canberra side.
It was a tough morning in foggy conditions for the 16s, who fell to a 6-0 defeat.
Griffith will play host to Wagga City Wanderers this weekend at Ted Scobie Oval.
