The Knights came away 5-0 winners when the two sides met in April, but Yoogali SC coach Luke Santolin says this weekend will be a chance for the Griffith side to set the record straight.
"We were a bit light player-wise the last time we met, with two or three boys backing up from the Under 23s and I think mentally once we got a couple of goals behind we just rolled over," Santolin said.
"I personally didn't think they were a five goal better side than us I just think we weren't in the right headspace that game."
"This week will be the test of whether or not it was a once-off or whether there is that big of a gap and I'm confident my boys will be better prepared this time around."
Looking ahead to the game, Santolin highlighted concentration and effort as the two key factors his side need to up if they are going to get a result against the second place Canberra side.
"It is going to take concentration and we're going to need to work hard in defense," the Griffith coach said.
"We need to be prepared to go long periods without the ball and when we do get opportunities our passing has got to be clean and we've got to hit the target to give ourselves the best opportunity."
"We've proven that we can score goals it's just this year our passing which has let us down at times. It all comes back to concentration so that was the theme at training this week."

Yoogali SC head into the game off the back of a bye last weekend, which Santolin says was a good chance for his side to refresh after a busy period.
"We had a really heavy workload in May with four or five away trips so it was good to just refresh mentally and physically but I'm keen to get back on the park this week," he said.
Santolin was hoping to head into the game with a bit of a boost, provided by the four new signings the club made over the June transfer window, however this positive has been negated by some missing players for the Griffith side.
"We've actually signed four new players but in saying that we are missing Calvin Roddie, Joey Preece and Dom Galluzzo so it's kind of like a revolving door at the moment," Santolin said.
"In a long season you've got to be prepared for things like that though. You never have the same side two weeks in a row."
