Griffith police have issued a reminder to local residents after three seperate drivers allegedly fled the scene of collisions last week.

Police are reminding residents there is an obligation to exchange your details with someone if you have gotten into a car accident with them.
In the case of an accident, the drivers involved must exchange their names and addresses, the names and addresses of the owners of the vehicles, the vehicles' registration number and any other information necessary to identify the vehicles.
The warning from police after a week in which three Griffith drivers allegedly had their vehicles crashed into by drivers who fled without exchanging details.
At about 2:50pm on Monday May 31, a Griffith resident parked her silver Hyundai hatchback outside the FoodWorks supermarket on Banna Avenue.
About 15 minutes later she exited the supermarket and allegedly saw a vehicle leaving a parking spot and colliding with the driver's side bumper on her Hyundai.
The incident was observed by numerous people however the offending vehicle continued driving without exchanging details and left the scene.

A second incident occurred on Saturday, when a Griffith driver left her blue Audi sedan parked in the Griffith City Cinema carpark between 6:30pm and 11:05pm.
Upon returning to her car, the driver realised her headlight had been damaged and reported the incident to police.
Police say it appears the offending vehicle left without exchanging details and there are no witnesses.
The third incident occurred on Sunday, when the owner of a silver Holden Captiva left their car parked in the Griffin Plaza carpark between 3pm and 3:30pm.
At some point in that time, a driver allegedly reversed into the Holden, causing extensive damage to the front-near side of the vehicle.
The offending driver allegedly failed to stop or exchange details and left the scene.
