The school's production was based on Tom Brigg's stage adaptation of Robert Freedman's teleplay, and represents the first musical that Murrumbidgee Regional has produced.
The cast and crew were all students, supported by their teachers and Pristine Productions. Sasha Halliburton took the role of Cinderella, supported by Brendan Codemo as Prince Christopher and Tusiata Tafili as the stage-commanding Fairy Godmother.

Katherine Innes directed the musical with assistant director Matthew Ingles. A note in the program from Ms Innes says that while people may watch shows like Cinderella for the simplicity, there is more to the story.
"We love the happy ending of a royal wedding and the underdog coming out on top. But this production of Cinderella is also telling the story of two people searching for true connection in their worlds ... the true magic in this story happens when these two souls see each other for who they truly are."
Staff involved were pleased with how the show came together, especially with so many moving parts involved across both sites.
"The challenge was to create a sense of magic on stage, with many hours of planning going into sequences such as the onstage transformation of the pumpkin carriage, horses and Cinderella's dress ... 50 cast members and over 20 backstage crew members were involved," a staff member said.
"I'm thrilled with the dedication and enthusiasm of our students both on stage and behind the scenes."
While there's no word yet on what the next big production for MRHS is, they've said they have no plans to slow down and will "continue showcasing the exceptional work of our students in the creative and performing arts."
