Mr Bortolin is hosting another public forum to get the community involved with the project and put together a "pre-emptive working group." He recently tried something similar but was disappointed in the response from the public.
"We had eleven turn up, and most of the ones who came were from organisations. I was hoping for more of the general public. It was a little disappointing but this one's a bit more organised and it's a different approach," Mr Bortolin said.

The different approach includes guest speakers from NSW CanAssist, the Cancer Council and Wagga's Lilier Lodge. The group also has more interest this time around, with Mr Bortolin fielding calls from the general public and organisations in the area.
The Cancer Council has reached out to offer support, as well as Lilier Lodge promising to break down how they run their program to give the new committee ideas on how to organise theirs. Emma Phillips, the executive director of CanAssist is also attending the forum.
"I can't put a number on how much I've learnt ... we've got people talking now, we're using social media to put the word out which we didn't have before. We're getting onto ABC radio and Star FM," Mr Bortolin said about the new attempt.
"Something like this, it's not fair to give up."
The forum will be held on Monday June 7, at the Southside Griffith Leagues Club.
