While the night is geared towards musicians, other acts are encouraged to perform as well. Whether you've got a quick stand-up set or a dance routine, sign-ups are being encouraged with some time constraints.
Griffith City Council's project planner Nathan Beer is excited to bring open mic to Street Scapes.
"The open mic night is a great opportunity where Council is able to marry passionate community groups with great urban infrastructure," he said in a statement.
The night's host has not been confirmed yet, however it will be hosted by either Peter Jones or Cheryl Tucker. Interested performers are urged to register their interest soon.
Registrations are open online and will close at 4pm on the 21st.
