Paris Floyd has been trying to teach her two sons the value of kindness, putting together boxes of fresh produce for those in need and sending baked goods to the hospital where her husband works.
Her newest project is a community donation box, aiming to be a discreet place for those in need to pick up food and other supplies donated by the community.
She was inspired to put the community box together after donating supplies on an individual basis and realising the good that it could do on a larger scale.
"I know some single mothers who sometimes can't afford the things they need, so we donate food and clothes ... I wanted to extend that."
Mrs Floyd said that she's hoping the community will rally behind the project and support it.
"I'm really hoping the community will get involved, it will build a little village ... There are people who want to help, and there are people who need it."

The Griffith Shed for Men has agreed to build the box and a stand for Mrs Floyd. President of the shed Angelo Maloni is keen to help.
"When somebody rings me about something, I'm always keen to help so we will make this box. We're thinking about 1m by 1m, and 500mm deep. If it fills up, then we'll make another one."
Mrs Floyd is ready to go as soon as the box is built, and is estimating the project will be up and running in a few weeks.
"'I'm ready to stock it. I've had this idea for a long time, but now that I own a place, we can put it on our property and nobody can say no to it," she said.
"I'm just hoping that the message will seep through ... they can't do it alone."
