It was the third straight win for the Blacks, including two on the trot in Wagga, but coach Chris McGregor wants to see more from this side.
"The win is pleasing, but it was definitely not our best performance," McGregor said.
"Aggies played with a lot of enthusiasm, and we knew they would come out and play with a lot of enthusiasm as they are a young bunch of kids who work hard."
Viliami Ngu and Miji Qaranivalu started the scoring for the visitors who were looking to pick up as many points as possible to keep pace with Wagga City.
Daniel Bozic, Jack Glyde and Bryn Francis scored the remainder of the Blacks tries as they held on to take a nine-point win.
Enthusiasm is one thing McGregor wants to see more of from his side.
Especially with a clash against unbeaten Wagga City on the horizon.
Despite being yellow carded, Bozic was among the best for the Blacks, while James Kanaley and Andries De Meyer were strong in the forward pack.
The Blacks will be without winger Miji Qaranivalu after he broke his wrist in the win.
However, McGregor expects the return of Hamish Wrafter will be a big boost.
The Wagga City side will be coming into the game off the back of a bye, having picked up four wins from four games to start the season.

In a low scoring third grade game, the Blacks were able to come away with a 5-0 win thanks to a try in the 20th minute to Reni Marela Kirirua.
