Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called at 1.11pm to attend the fire with numerous calls from nearby residents.
When fire crews arrived they found flames and smoke coming from the roof of the home.
It took around an hour for firefighters to bring the blaze under control, however no one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined by fire investigators.
