The critically acclaimed, nationally award winning production will be performed by Queensland based Shake and Stir Theatre Company.
"The novel's ability to clearly, concisely and deeply affect the reader, whilst presenting on the surface as a simple, almost childish parable is astounding and now more than ever - its message should be heard," Nick Skubij, Artistic Director of Shake and Stir Theatre Company said.
First published in 1945, the allegorical novella follows an assortment of farm animals as they rebel against a farmer and seek to create a utopia where all animals are equal, free and happy with disastrous consequences.
According to Margaret Andreazza, Acting Manager of Griffith Regional Theatre, this production of Animal Farm will bring a unique telling to this classic story, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences.
"Animal Farm promises to be one of the most shocking, relevant and wickedly funny theatre events of 2021," Mrs Andreazza said.
The performers will play over 40 animals between them, morphing between human and animal as they bring the farmyard characters to life.

Mr Skubij, said that the production will surprise audiences as it has stood the test of time.
"It's quite possible the happenings as described on Animal Farm could unfold on the evening news on any given night,"Mr Skubij said.
"The timing of this tour comes hot on the heels of a once in a generation health pandemic and at a time when the entire human population has undergone something of a pause and a reset.
"I hope this production continues to encourage audiences to question the way we live, our ideals, our aspirations and provokes spirited conversation in theatre foyers."
