Having picked up their first win of the season against Albury, Blacks coach Chris McGregor knows that games like this are crucial for his side.
"These are the games that we need to win," he said.
"They are improving every week, and the game they played against City was much better than what I have seen previously, so they are a side on the improve."
There are a couple of niggling injuries in the squad, but the Blacks coach is confident they will welcome back Daniel Bozic.

Even with the injuries, McGregor feels it is a point of pride for the club to have the depth they have.
"In the past, if we had one or two first graders out, it would have been a huge thing," he said.
"We are in a great position where I can play 30 different blokes, at least maybe even 40 and know that they can stand up and do the job.
"The biggest part for our club this year has been our depth.
"There could be about half a dozen out on the weekend, so it could be interesting."
The clash with CSU will get underway at around 3.15pm on Saturday at Beres Ellwood Oval.
