Having played 180 minutes worth of football, a couple of players were still coming to terms with their workload from the weekend, according to coach Luke Santolin.
"I think a few of them are still trying to work out if they are injured or just sore," he said.
"Looking back, it was 180 minutes in a day and a half almost, so it was a bit crazy. Hopefully, we don't have too many withdrawals from the weekend."
This weekend will see the side take on a White Eagles side who are sitting one point ahead of them on the table, and with close competition, Santolin knows this game is crucial.
"It's a classic six-point game," he said.
"They will be one of our main rivals for the top spots, so we need to bounce back with a win on the road and will need everyone at our disposal."
When you look at the table, you can see how close the competition for finals places will be.
ANU FC at the top of the ladder is just four points ahead of the fifth-placed Yoogali SC side heading into the weekend, and the closeness of the competition is something that excites Santolin.

"Even if we had of pinched a point on Sunday just gone, the whole table looks totally different, and that is the beauty of such a brilliant competition," he said.
"Everyone is taking points off one another, so each weekend sees the table completely rearranged.
"We need to keep banking wins especially early on so that we can stay in touch with the leaders."
On the injury front, the Yoogali coach still feels it will be a couple of weeks before Jacob Donadel will return to the first team.
"I think he will play 23s," he said.
"He can do everything apart from lay a tackle, so we want to keep him fit, but he is probably a couple of weeks off being ready for the battle of first grade."
Meanwhile, the under 23s will look to pick up their first win of the season when they take on White Eagles, who are sitting just above them.
