The St Patrick's side was able to make a fast start, with Jacob Dalo kicking the first goal before Nicholas Piva was able to snap a shot home out of a contest.
Ted Files was able to pull a goal back for the Griffith East side before Harrison Waide kicked St Pats to a 15-point lead at the break, having just returned from the blood bin.
Griffith East was able to give themselves a shot, with Dean Suine able to kick the first goal of the second half while the margin was back to just three points, with Daniel Panebianco kicking a major.

Oliver Salvestrin pushed the lead back out to eight points before the win, and they were able to hold out to take the 10-point win.
Griffith East didn't go home empty-handed however, with the Griffith East Giraffes taking out the girl's side of the competition with a 22-10 win over St Joseph's Narrandera and the boys side progress to the next round of the PSSA knockout due to taking out the Tony Lockett Shield.
