The relay team consisting of Max Conlan, Ella Rowney, Tom Curran and Charles Kite competed in the Earl McGee Small Schools 4x50m relay and blew their competition out of the water.
Heading into the event, the team had been putting in plenty of practice to ensure they were in the best position possible heading to the carnival.
"We had done five weeks of full-on training," Ella said.
"I had been swimming over 2km every day," Charles said
There were some nerves for the team stepping up to the blocks for the finals, with Ella admitting she almost fell in, but there was also some confusion in the lead-up.

"We were all looking around to try and find Charlie," Max said. "I was supposed to go to the Riverina marshalling area to go to the NSW marshalling area, so I got confused," Charles said.
Once the team was together all in the right area, there was no stopping them. They finished with a time of 2:30.47, which was 12 seconds ahead of the second-placed team and saw Binya break a 17-year-old record which was held by Grong Grong Public School with a time of 2:32.62.
All agreed standing on the top step with the gold medal was the best moment of their lives.
