The visiting side was able to take the lead 10 minutes after a ball across the box was converted with a simple tap in, but Yoogali almost answered immediately afterwards through Danny Roche.
Michael De Paoli pulled off a great save to keep the scoreline at 1-0 before Bagiante took a shot from the top of the box, but it sailed wide.
Yoogali were able to find the equaliser in the dying stages of the first half after good combination play saw Isaac Donadel able to get through on goal and convert, but ANU were able to retake the lead after scoring from a set-piece with minimal time remaining in the first half.
ANU found a third just after the break before Yoogali pulled one back with a long ball from Jordan Baveresco, finding Mason Donadel, who placed it into the back of the net at the far post.
When Joey Preece was fouled in the box, Calvin Roddie stepped up to try and convert the penalty but placed the spot-kick just wide.

In search of a late equaliser, ANU was able to take advantage of the tiring Yoogali side to wrap the game up with a fourth goal.
Coach Luke Santolin felt it was clear to see the effect of fatigue setting in.
"It was more noticeable at the times where we had the ball that we were tired because normally we are a bit crisper," he said.
"We set ourselves big goals this weekend, and it is only now we realise how big those goals were. We came within a penalty kick of achieving something brilliant."
