Recruits James Hart and Rhys Hanley have started their year as Probationary Constables with the police force, and are already out on the streets ready to learn in the community.

The pair will undergo a year of training overseen by a senior officer, before formally being promoted to the ranks. Both were previously based in Sydney.
Constable Hart is working in Griffith, while Constable Hanley has been stationed out in Narrandera. Both are keen to get to know the area and described the experience as a 'good adventure'.
"It's just luck of the draw, but it's a good luck of the draw. Everyone we spoke to said that Griffith is a really great place to learn." said Constable Hart.
"We've heard amazing reviews." said Constable Hanley.

"I don't know where it comes from, but I really just like being a part of the community." said Constable Hart.
"The reason I signed up was mostly that no two jobs are the same, and you get a chance to help people." said Constable Hanley.
